My recap of the holidays!

Dop Dop had our Christmas party... We rolled out the carpet for our DopDop stars. Everyone looked wonderful. I will be posting pics as soon as I get them. I didn't get home until six in the morning. Dop Dop-ers sure know how to party, so thank you everyone for a great time. I talked about this over and over again—but it just wouldn't be right if I didn't mention that the finest door-guy ever worked our party. I am going to spread the news: He was an exotic dancer!!! He didn't take off his clothes, but he did make me think of what it's like for the women of these men? Ok, total change of subject..

On Christmas, I spent a few hours at Goddard River Community Center feeding people in need of food. What was so interesting was the amount of volunteers that came out. There were actually too many! The people who came enjoyed a dinner of turkey and gravy, stuffing, peas and carrots, and cranberry sauce, with a variety of cakes, cookies, danishes and loaves of bread. Apple cider, tea and coffee also made its way around to warm everyone up. Over 1,400 meals were served thanks to donations of food, money and time. A lot of people weren't homeless and, by looking at them, you couldn't tell they were in need of a decent meal. I will let everyone know when I am volunteering next, because that's the first thing everyone wants to knowhow come you didn't invite me?! And if you know about any other charity events happening, please let me know. I would love to be there.
