I found this blog entry online, featuring me as one of Mizani's platform artist. The weekend of the American Beauty Show we showcase Mizani's True Textures line on varies natural textures. We enhanced curls with True Texture's Perfect Curl, stretch curls to their max with Moisture Stretch creating big bodacious hair. I loved it, had a blast!!

MIZANI- Independent Beauty Event
The days have been flying by since I last wrote. I am trying to keep up. A little update on the book Woman Act Now: We have a third member. After reading the first chapter, we were inspired to write down every dream we have had; from speaking another language, to traveling, to marriage. I’ll definitely keep blogging on the progress, but I am so excited to talk about the Mizani event given by Independence Beauty Supply. Why so excited?? Mizani has a new line of hair products for textured hair. I got a sneak peek of the products on Sunday evening. The picture of the curly hair model above demonstrates what True Textures does. The model (Yanika) had her hair done by Mizani educator Maisha Cogle. Yanika claims she has to flat iron her hair every day because it's so frizzy, and can't find products that curl her hair well enough to wear it natural. Amazed at what True Texture does to her hair, she said that "it's not hard like gel, it’s soft and bouncy" and now does consider wearing her hair natural. If you have natural hair, I'm sure you will find something in the line that's awesome for you. True Texture products have not been released yet, however, I am working with my contacts. I will be posting before and after videos of using True Textures soon. The line includes a sulfate-free shampoo, moisturizing conditioner, curl-definers and frizz-fighters.
